Pho, Whimsy, and Back Alleys: Saigon with Tasha
Visiting Ho Chi Minh City for the first time after many years, Tasha wanted to grab some portraits in the city she visited so much growing up and it was a recipe for perfection. Pho being her comfort food at home, she knew she wanted to include some of it’s deliciousness in her photos. And then we wandered to add a a bit of the essence of Saigon’s streets complete with narrow alleys, bright colors, and flourishing plants. We popped into the Circle K to cool down before heading to Hồ Con Rùa (Turtle Lake) for a hint of whimsy and glowing sun. And then sat and had a chat about life while the evening traffic whisked around us (We were in the middle of a roundabout so, you know). A solid afternoon with some great photos, at least in my opinion.
Thanks for letting me capture your return to Vietnam, having such awesome ideas, and thank you for supporting this small business!
If Ho Chi Minh City has played an important role in your life or in your family, celebrate it by getting portraits done in city. And let me know if you want some help with that.
